We helped Kaya Bloom develop a unique and playful Brand ID that embodies its true essence. The project wouldn’t have been complete without a trilingual website design that allows visitors to envision and securely book their stay.
The name Kaya Bloom was inspired by the word “Kaya”, a sacred place of the Mijikenda people in Kenya. To them, Kaya is a sacred forest, with the literal meaning of “home”.
We chose a colour palette that reflected the beauty of warm Costa Rican sunsets. The logo was inspired by a tribal character present throughout the space by the previous owners. The brand fonts carry out a similar whimsical and cheeky personality with its stylized ligatures.
